With a tune, you will forget all about the "sport" mode. Leave it in D, and the tune will definitely take care of the rest, just keep both hands on the wheel for your first time.

Definately get the tune. Get it from Bama at AmericanMuscle.com they have the best customer service, prices and their tunes actually give more hp and tq over other company tuners. My car would lag sometimes when i hit the gas pedal. After I installed just the 87 street tune. I literally had a wide open jaw after hitting the gas with no lag and not expecting that big of a difference in shifting and how fast it picked up speed. Everyone says its a day and night difference with the tune added and its the truth. Best money spent hands down. For the extra money I would get the Diablo tuner you can get 0-60 times 1/4 mile times and read and clear check engine light codes.
