Sometimes my car takes a few seconds to start. Like when I turn the key it turns over like normal, but there are days where it has to turn over for a few seconds longer. What could cause this?

Clogged fuel filter, weak fuel pump, or old plugs. Mine does it too. Check fuel pressure.

Or try turn your key on, then off a couple times. Then start it and see if it starts easier. That's weak fuel pump.

+1, When you turn the key on and off it will basically bleed the fuel lines. I a lot of times it tends to be more so on the spark plug end. I'd pull one and check it if not do a complete tune up, they never hurt to do anyway.

Could also be a bad idle air control valve. I had one that wouldn't open up and my car took forever to start until someone suggested it might be that. Good rule of thumb is start with the smallest thing first. Do fuel pressure check first, easy just go to auto zone and rent a fuel pressure checker. Then the iac valve, take it off and see if there is a lot of carbon build up. If so clean it out with carb cleaner. Then check a spark plug.
