Our cars are notorious for loud power steering pumps is to drain out what fluid and refill it with fresh and refill it with fresh stuff. Usually this gets rid of a fair amount of wine
Sounds like the steering pump to me to. Some people suggest draining it an running Lucas in it as a short term fix. I personally have never tried it.
I had a little wine for almost a year then it went away and never heard it again. But yeah putting new power steering fluid in is the only thing I can think of doing.
Mine had a little whine when I turned wheel before. I siphoned some fluid out and put lucus in it and hasn't made the noise since. That was about 4000 miles ago.

When/if u put it in, leave cap off and turn wheel back and forth to get air out. I only used half bottle of lucus.

Yeah mine did that to and ended up braking and leaked everywhere and I had no power steering. Bought a new line and put it on $30 with power steering fluid and line. But check for leaks first. And then if not just flush it like they said. Mine wines still a but only when I first start driving. Ad also because my ball joints are bad.
