Ya it would take some searching for a reputable shop that is for sure. I would want to see the work prior and talk to the owners of the cars.I had a Ford Probe with the sunroof like that. It slid back and looked really good. It was Factory.
I'm just suggesting for the two or three thousand he will spend getting a sunroof installed he could put that $$$$ toward an convertible.
It would be a total miracle to find a shop to install the sunroof properly.
I would be paranoid of that as well but that said. I haven't heard of one person that has had a roof break or even chip and they have been using them for years now. It would probably be covered under glass on your auto insurance too I would think... Could have a rider added to your policy too I guess. Why not just get a mustang with the glass roof option and watch as rocks hit it?
:wtfPlus what if you roll. Your out of there. Least with a top your crushed between metal and glass. That's a better way to die than watch as you hit a tree at 60. Js
Harsh and out there but, with a coupe you get crushed in metal and glass. With a vert you get thrown out since the top is soft or down and you basically watch as your body hits a tree. That's life. Sadly.pwrby4d said:true. lol. guess ford would have to recommend someone.

This exact discussion comes up frequently on the forum. While a few people do have them it also compromises the structural integrity of the roof. Thats what I've read elsewhere on the forumSupermans_ghxst said:Can a sunroof be installed in a 2013 v6? And would it look good?
