hey, does anyone know what that mileage on a supercharger has to be for it to be a good time for a rebuild? also how much are rebuilds? this would be a procharger 7psi intercooled on a 00 v6 btw. any input would be appreciated
Usually something with bearing will last a good 80K miles at least, but this doesn't mean it will fail then, it could go at anytime before or after. I've seen some alternators, and A/C compressors go as far as 150K.
i'd recommend getting buddy buddy with someone so you don't have to take it to a speedshop. cent's should be fine for 75k miles or more, but a rebuild is never a bad idea past 50-75k even on lower boost.
procharger's oil is self contained i believe. if it is, you'll need to change like you change your motor oil, but if it's tapped from your oil pan like the vortechs then you're fine for a good while.
