Wonderin what some of you think about putting a 200 shot on a 03 cobra with the unported eaton and a smaller pulley. I do not plan on using it often, only if someone decides to talk smack, just as a little extra kick if need be! I dont know a thing about nitrous ...dry vs wet, if its even a good idea for what i have?! Any guidance would be just super, thanks in advance!

I honestly don't know much at all about nos but I heard some horror stories of engines blowing up from it. But then again it was ricers and they probably didn't know what they were doing. So all I can say is it seems to be some dangerous stuff if not done right. Is the supercharger not enough? Lol I have a v6 and would die to have a termi

Yeah its enough. I just want that 200 shot for a little added protection. Ive been hangin out with some people that have some rediculous cars that make that litle termi of mine look like a grocery gitter. I would only use that 200 shot when needed.

Really? I'd like to see some of these cars then, cause that must be pretty quick. Sorry I can't help ya man. Are they running it? Cause then they could probably answer all your questions unless they aren't friends on the track

What set up do you have, and how does it work? I mean, I am a total noob when it comes to the laughing gas. Do you think a 200 shot is too big for an already boosted engine? I am running 12-13 lb right now.

sorry for replying a month later man, i been busy, anyways i believe you will need a new tune if you go over the 150 shot, and i also read on other forums that its better to stay with the 150 shot, for some reason not alot of people think its safe to use the 200 shot . i am running on the jms nitrous kit, i have only use it once and it was a great help. i think you should ask somebody who knows about this, cause i bet your cobra will become a beast with a 200 shot. i think you should be able to run it with the right tune

definitely run a wet kit (fuel and nitrous) and get a tune. Most people stay with a 100-125 on these cars and they make a throttle body plate for them as well.

The problem you run into with a 200 shot is maxing out your fuel system pretty quickly.

whats the difference between dry and wet man?
On a dry kit you are just spraying nitrous.
On a wet kit you are spraying both nitrous and the fuel to compensate.

On a dry kit you have to tune for more fuel to be dumped whereas on a wet kit it "should" compensate if you run the correct jets.

I always recommend at least a dyno run or two to make sure nothing it going to blow up. These engines aren't cheap.

My friend had nitrous and ported blower on his cobra. He was running a 75shot with 16psi and was making nearly 700 torque to the tires with just bolt ons. For fuel just go with twin gt500 pumps and youll be good. As for the nitrous use a wet kit I have never been a fan of using a dry kit.

Thanks for all the tips. I do plan on going with a wet kit if and when I do the nitrous thing. I will keep you all posted on the results and what not. Thanks again for all your input!
