true that the 8.8" can take more of a beating than the 7.5" but you are just spending pointless money(unless you want to). the 7.5 can take quite the beating. no need to upgrade unless you are putting down some serious ponies.Just get a 8.8 rear and then put 4.10 I got my 8.8 for 250 and I put 3.73 plus the 8.8 takes more punishment then that weak 7.5
the ford t lok diff is discontinued.Stangmods sells a kit. Comes with a ford racing 7.5 diff, your choice gears 3.73 or 4.10, and also a bearing kit for i believe it was around $650?? Thats what imma go with. You might wanna check it out
Yes but IMO, I'd rather get off the line faster and create separation.I heard of people having to shave them to fit and is it true you're top speed is slower
