It's pretty common for the aftermarket ones to wear out quickly. It could be that your TOB is resting on the pressure plate fingers, those will cause it to wear out prematurely as well.
Mines wore out too. I ordered a ford racing throw our and pilot bearing yesterday. I heard aftermarket ones don't last long, wear out, and start chattering
I'm going into college and I'm not going to be throwing that much money into the engine yet.. It's still stock besides a catback. The clutch I have now seems real stiff compared to other manuals I've driven but it's had this clutch on since I bought it
It aint hard. Ittl be a little harder if u have a 3650 compared to a t45 tho 3650 u have to pull the tranny and a bellhousing as a whole. T45 u can just un bolt the 4 from the bellhousing and pull the tranny. I have done 3 or 4 clutches myself.
I thought I was going to be doing my clutch but as it turned out the whine was coming from my differential. That isn't a job I will be trying to tackle on my own.
