Anyone have experience in replacing a timing chain on a 2000 explorer? How difficult is it?

Ok it has a timing chain in the front of the engine and on the back. The front you can do in the vehicle but to get to the back you have to pull the engine and do it on an engine stand. Honestly its a pain in the butt

Ok it's my moms truck and a local mechanic said it would cost about 2500 to repair but if I have to pull the engine I can't do it. Thanks for the info.
