Ok so i went to the track today in gainesville florida with a few buddys and im happy with my results: 05 5 speed gt 3.55 gears with steeda underdrive pulleys pacesetter catless x pipe pypes axle back and 93 octane tune.
1st pass was 14.07 with a passanger and 2.2 60 foot @ 100 mph
2 pass was 13.90 no passanger and a 2.10 60 foot @ 100 mph
Track was id say 75 degrees with overcast all day.
Im happy with it for sure. Just curious what other peoples times might be with similar mods?

107 is a little high I'd say but he should be at least 104-105.
He has the same mods as me plus UD pullies so I think a 105/106 is realistic, unless he doesn't have a CAI

But ya anyways your mph says something wrong

But your MT make a big difference. What was your best time/mph?

WIth his 60', he won't see 107 but can still see more than 100. You also have the 110MM intake right?

Ya, on street tires with less mods just tune 110mm intake and 410s I got a 13.3 at 104 with a 2.0 60'

With the MTs and new clutch and added an off road Xpipe I've only had 3 passes and couldn't get the launch perfect but my best was 13.1 at 105 with a 1.94 60' also had a horrible DA that day

I would say on street tires he'd see 105+ tops. Your 105 was on 15s. Your times are great, I need a forum rival, go get some new times hehe.

It's possible to get in the mid 13s completely stock. 13.6 for sure. But it takes the perfect temperature, weather, humidity, launch, etc

I agree. I live in Louisiana...humidity capital of the south and my 05 GT ran a 14.1 with only a JLT C.A.I., pypes exhaust and a bama street tune. 93oct. with 235 55r17's. Plus, I still have my stock 3.31 gears too. Somethings up with those times, since he has all those mods. Might be his tune.

In 108 degrees with 70 humidity I ran 14.1 at 101 with a 2.1 on 235s. 100% stock. You have PLENTY of time left there

I think i need some 3.90's. Nice GT btw!
Thanks hehe. I have many more pics. Looks much different now.

As for the 3.90 gears, I would not recommended adding more parts as it will only make the times worse. More power will just make it harder until you can master your current setup.

I hear ya. Supposed to go to the track today. It's a nice sunny day, 56 degrees. Should be a better run. Gonna use the race tune this time. Starting to get comfortable with the.switch to rwd.

Yes, I've come from FWD as well. Although I did have an RX8 which was powerless so it was easy to drive being RWD and handled well so not much room for uh oh moments.
