They are dyno proven to give gains. Both are. Both installed at the same time may be noticeable. Otherwise, individually may not be.

They are just mods you throw at the car near the end when you want every bit of power. They are both easy to install, even for beginners.

With them both you should expect 15hp 15tq give or take a bit depending on your other mods

They are the one inch thick plate on top of your manifold that have valves over all 8 intakes. One plate pet side. A Delete plate is a version of the cmcv plates minus the valves. No airflow restriction. The valves usually begin to open at 3000rpm's. Without them your wide open. Gas mileage probably drops a bit. Only 2005-2008 need them. 2009 they stopped putting the cmcv plates in. And it came stock with deletes. That's why I think everyone thinks they need em. If ford changed them, must be better. It does require a tune and plates and tune will run you 300$-$500. Is 8hp worth it?

It's worth it if you're at the end of modding goals and need every last bit. 8 hp across the board usually

If you notice,I asked the initial question. Sorry for poor info however it was relayed to me from Robinson Brothers Ford in Baton Rougge La.
With all due respect to real and knowledgeable mechanics out there, most dealers have Mechanics who work at Ford. Not Ford mechanics. Their opinions are usually personal and misinformed. They're great for fixing an OEM product to OEM spec.
