Lets just say that i found an old 2001 engine (the pistons and crankshaft are ruined)(pretty much its toast) how hard would it be to take the upper and lower intake manifolds off the engine and put it onto a 1998 ? (and to run properly? )

also is their a real good guide on how to do such a thing that a 18 year old who only knows how to change the oil in his car can follow?

well first i doubt that the intake and exhaust manifolds would fit but if they do i would highly recommend finding some help its no easy job

It can be done but it's not worth the hassle. You would need to get the heads and everything too. What you want to do is called a PI swap. Check this out. http://www.dereklikescars.com/headswap/
