Congrats ....Thanks. Just got my Flowmasters now and they sound really good. Not V8 good but way better than stock.
Ya it won't pass smog....but it only takes 15-20mins to take Cai off and put stock back on..cheap Cai best way to go...k&n is not even a cold air bcuz it sits next to engine getting hot air...eBay brand works great ur basically paying for the name not hpWill not pass smog. But you're saving a buttload of money with a cheap CAI. It's not too bad taking it off every two years for smog
Yes just to be on safe side .... If u have the handheld tuner from AM takes 5minsWould have to get it re-tuned when switching back to stock intake when doing the smog test?
If you have the money ya tuner is the best mod u can get especially from AM bcuz of the free tunes for life....Cai honestly I get a cheap one from eBay like $50 but u can get a Cai and tuner combo from AM I think but I think its pointless for paying a lot of money for a intake for the name....So I should order a tuner the same time I order the CAI? If so, which tuner and CAI do you recommend?
Good luck... NpThanks for the tips! I will check out AM for tuners now.
The tuner will tie all ur mods together so they are working together...plus it will set ur air fuel ratio and I love.it bcuz its also a obd2 reader incase I get a check engine light use the tuner to find out what it is.Yup i got my flowmaster exhaust and the American Muscle CAI.... i fell more power over 3000rpm, but now i`m gonna grab the tuner soon... I heard so good thing for Automatic... but not much about manual... so that`s why i hesitate so much... Is there anyway owner with the tuner and a 5 speed tranny?
