Ive got a stock v6 stang and I purchased a 04 GT take off system, I havent recieved it yet but i think i may be short some pipe maybe a 1' or 1.5' ?? is this true.. ive seen some v6 conversion pipes for sale about $150 that will hookup a dual setup, can this peice be made by myself or can I run a straight pipe from the cat to the exhaust? Let me know thanks
you don't need a crossover on a v6 unless you got some big mods, a cross over does change the sound a little bit though. but you don't NEED one on a v6 because of the firing order, its not having to scavange exhaust gases.
nope, it won't. if your tight on money, i would just take it to a place that does exaust work, and have them cut the y pipe, and run pipe straight back to where teh take offs would be. shouldn't be too much.
