What do I need, or how do I check my car for any vacuum leaks?

The best way to check for vacuum leaks if hooking up a smoker to the intake. Some Auto Stores will let you rent them or most Auto Repair Shops have them. Once you get your hands on one, it's pretty straight forward. It pumps smoke through your intake and will come out of any leaks in your engine. This makes find leaks quick and easy!

easier way is to grab a section of tubing put it in your ear and move it around the engine bay, you WILL find it, just be thorough

I just use carb spray and spray carefully (not on electronics) all the suspected areas with the car running. If you find a leak the idle will raise
