So i washed my car now i am waxing it my friends said i should was it again? Is that true? And what about rims? I have painted rims and can i wax them? I new to all this detailing stuff haha if you couldn't already tell

I usually wax right after I wash it, don't wait a day or 2 because even then stuff can get on the paint. And I usually do it once a month just because it seems to wear off so fast because my car sits out side.

I washed mine before its actually my dads fusion but i drive it when he goes out of town and i cant stand to drive it dirty haha

Soccer I didn't mean wax a day or two after. I meant I just rinse dust off every couple days. I didn't know if that's what u thought lol. My car gets dusty from di******* speeding around where I live.

Oh I knew what you were talking about. I use the spray wax also when I wash my car weekly. Gives it a nice shine.

After proper waxing - only see a need for maybe a dusting there is no need to re-wash. Its okay to use a quick detailer in between washings or a waterless wash. Its also very important to use a good shampoo for washing and stay away from harsh cleaners or products not made to enhance and protect your paint.
