the mustang,but if the mustang came with a 3.55 gear,its way faster.not sure if it was available for 86,but it was for 82-3

Until I see a Mustang beat an F-body GM car, I'm gonna say the Firebird is faster. Anyone can write specs down, but in the real world Camaros and Firebirds not only seem to accelerate faster, but also stop faster than Fox chassis Mustangs.

The Mustang should be a bit quicker, assuming both cars are good condition and the drivers are equal.
