I'm trying to replace the front wheel bearings in my 1972 dodge w200 4x4 truck. The front axle is dana 44-3ef. The bearings that are on the hub don't seem to match the bearings recommended for this truck. This truck is 4x4 with manual locking hubs, 8 lugs.
Hub# 86710
hub seal# 40316s
outer bearing 18685

On Kimken manufacturer website this matches to W200 truck from the 1960 -1967.

So, what do I do? I can figure out the outer bearing, because i have number. How do i find out the inner bearing? I have to press it out?

The easyest way is to press it out and take it to the parts store with you and let the match or cross refference the numbers.
Replace all seals also.

each bearing has a number on it and they can match the number of any bearing made, what id do is take the bearing out and match it up to a new one,you may not be able to use the year of the vehicle because it may have parts on it that have been switched around through the years,good luck.
