This is a piece out of my 95' Mustang. It's part of the interlock system with the shifter and the breaks, as you can see, it's broken. The men at the mechanics place can't figure out what it is, or where they can replace it. We looked in the manual, it just labels the whole area as the Shifter interlock system. Do you know what it is? Or where I can find it?

I am pretty sure that piece comes with the shifter assembly. Most likely it has been discontinued at the dealer but there are Mustang magazines that sale just about anything for your Pony May do a look up for Mustang parts online or try Ebay for the shifter assembly.

Look on the piece for a stamped part no and look it up. I had a piece fall off my car and the body shop was too lazy to look it up to put it back.
