i would go with the pul/star spark plug thats what i use its a bit prices at any where between 13-14 dollars but well worth it another good one is Bosch
Any iridium works like Ngk ...etc just don't buy e3 spark plugs
Stick with original. Our motors like to be picky at times as I found out.
oem service plugs...$5 a pop on average and always work like a charm
Thanks guys. Has anyone had a problem with them blowing out if the block? I read that that is common with the 4.6. Do you have to remove the fuel rail to change them?

yea that is a common problem on our cars but i havent had it happen...(knock on wood) and you shouldnt have to remove the fuel rails.
Thanks everyone

Bosch are the worst plugs made even for my BMW. I use NGK TR6 in a high boost application.
If your car is bolt on modded stick with the OEM motorcraft plugs.

Your car has the 7/8 thread Romeo heads and you will not have any issue. The early Windsor heads had on 4/5 threads and were more prone to blow out. Also make sure the use some anti seize on the plugs treads and you will be good.
I had a problem with the thread stripping on one, from either over tightening which i don't think we tightened them that tight, or he said carbon build up and while tightening them messed the threads. But its all fixed now. He said that they are known for that though.

There's no need for iridium plugs in these motors unless you have serious work done.
It's just extra money thrown away for a fancy electrode and brand name.
