I have a 1967 Impala with a 350 engine hooked up to a 350 automatic tranny.

I do both city and highway driving with it but the gas guage is broken so I cant really estimate what my mileage is.

I am asking what should be the average MPG of this car.

Also asking if there are ways I can improve mileage?

Your average MPG is probably in the mid-teens. I'd say around 15-17. The older cars with bigger engines in them like your Impala weren't the best on fuel, they were made for power. You can improve your gas mileage by keeping your tires properly inflated, changing the air filter, and putting fuel treatment in the tank of your car when you go to fill up. The fuel treatment helps get rid of carbon build up in the pistons of your vehicle and allows it to burn more efficiently.
