I bought this mustang and can’t find where the hose is at. I have no idea where the hose should even come from. It’s on the back of the throttle body and sucks in air. I currently have that black plug that helps it not die abut it’s idle is rough.

That hose runs up the firewall and down into a hole in the passenger-side fender, then connects to some black plastic solenoid or canister mounted inside that fender well. I could be wrong, but I think it's the EVAP purge solenoid, and there are about (3) other hoses connected to that same thing. I have a couple of pictures of mine on my 2002 GT, and two of the other hoses attached to that thing use fittings that look like fuel lines (probably for vapor), to me.
