this belongs in bolt-ons. sorry, but i dont do bolt-ons so i cant give good advice about exhaust.

i would say to try to find someone who has each of those and listen and find out what you like best though
Dont listen to anyone when they tell you what exhaust is better than another.
Everyone has different tastes when it comes to exhaust.
I love my flowmasters. I have flow 40's, it has a mean idle, loud in high rpms, not ricey (to me) and i like the slight droning that it has.
Other people hate that and it annoys them... to me... i got used to it super fast and now its to quiet.

So see what iam saying? Best bet is to check out:

check out the different exhausts and choose for yourself, only way you'll truly be happy.

:moving to bolt ons:
Well I had a sticky on most of the popular types and brands of mufflers out there, But what Charles said is true choose the sound you want. Actually if your car is stock or near stock the perfromance gains are minimal. the deference being 1-2 hp difference brands. If you want the loudest mufflers go with glass packs or chambered mufflers like Flowmaster, MAC Flowpath or spintech. If you want best flowing get a flowthru design muffler. The most popular being Dynomax Ultra flows, Borla's or Magnaflows they have good sound just not quite as loud.
I like the sound of borla, so thats what I am getting
Let me first warn you about Borla. What did you here them on. If you do not have a supercharger or P&P heads, Intakes and cam they sound ricey. Borla's sound good with heavily modded engines that pump out higher volumes of air. Of the 5 or 6 cars that are more or less stock I have heard with Borla's they all sound like imports over 2500 RPM's. The stock V6 just does not move enough air to make them growl.

He but it is your car and you do what you want. I just wanted to warn you ;) ;) ;) :D
I have MAC flowpaths and they sound really nice IMO, they arent quite as loud or as ricey sounding as flowmasters but still have a nice growl
Flowpath kick ass and have a mean growl without the drone
Full Boar

I have true duals on my 2000 mustang with mufflers called Full Boar and people have ofter told me that it sounds like a v8. I love them and I could even fell the extra power it gave me. SO if you want sound and power, I'd go with Full Boar. But it is an opinion.

2000 Blue Mustang
Full length Densecharger
Full Boar Dual Exhaust
K&N Filter
NGK's
2 10" rockford fosgates
4 infinities
Who or what is full boar mufflers ?????????????????/
Never mind it is a muffler manufacturer in Arkansas here is their website

Warlocks, hands down.

LOUDEST (if you pull the dumps) and makes the most
HP (if you pull the dumps) so I'd say they will be great
for you! They are kinda smooth with the dumps in, but
they flow enough for big HP even corked up. :thumb2:
i believe MFB has some nice mufflers... i cant think of the name of them though, but theyre some of the better sounding ones ive ever heard.
zim he has a vortechs or something like that.
