He's right these aren't muscle cars. Muscle cars had less performance, where slower, and got worse fuel mileage. The newer versions of the old muscle cars should be called Body Builder cars.
(wink wink : I bet someone stuck in the past responds and tries to lie and say muscle cars were faster than new models. and I challenge them all to show me a stock muscle car timeslip that eclipses 18 seconds. I bet they can't.)
Boss 302 is fastest and most fun on a racetrack with corners, and has a very modern DOHC 5.0 V8 revving to 7500rpm. GT500 is most expensive, but by far the most powerful and fastest in a straight line. It is good in handling despite the live axle, but not as good as the Boss. Camaro 2SS is the best styled (or too cheesy), is the cheapest, and has independent suspension so it is comfier. It is the slowest and heaviest. Technically, none of these are "muscle cars" but "pony cars", but who cares, really? They are big, powerful, V8 RWD american coupe's with retro styling and relatively simple tech and low prices.
Although I cannot speak for the other vehicles, I know that the 2012 Camaro ZL1 will be powered by a supercharged LSA 6.2L V8 engine producing at least 550 horsepower (410 kW). It will be the fastest Camaro ever offered by Chevrolet. Be on the lookout for more information as it becomes available!
