The 'Stang is the only real "muscle" car of the choices. It has the look of something that could blow you off the road.

The 'Vette is a classic sports car with great style and chick appeal.

The Jag has a very dated look and is not really a muscle car in appearance. It has more of the sophisticated European look with all the rounded corners.

The Mustang would probably be my choice.

Of these, the '69 Mustang with a 351 and a 4 spd. The Body styling is classic, and maintenance and parts would be easier to locate.
But I do prefer my '70 Cutlass 442 w/455ci and TH400.

The Mustang, for sure. Of the three of those, the Mustang certainly has the best engine/body combination. 69's kind of pushing it for desirability, but I'd sooner wrench on a 289, 302 or 428 than a later-body Vette. And the E-type's a 2+2...on no one's list as far as the sexiest styling goes, and muscle car? Please. They're easy to modify, but their power lay in cornering, not straight-line acceleration.

Too bad you couldn't have posted a Series 1-1/2 E-Type. THAT'S sex on wheels.

All of the above are great cars. I would pick the Mustang because I've owned many before and they are wonderful, reliable, fast cars. The Corvette and Jag are great cars too, but only two-seaters. My wife and I have a baby on the way and I HAVE to pick a car with a back seat!!!

1969 Mustang.
Its from when they first started down the road to ruining the car (by stretching it to fit in a larger engine), but before they really destroyed it with the early 70's models.

Good balance of power and finesse.

The Jag is pretty but problematic, its also too exotic to go unnoticed.
The Vette is just too obvious.
The Mustang was made specifically to be inexpensive (1st model was under $2k starting price). Its beautiful without being as in your face with its speed and abilities.

I would have to go with the 69' mustang. I really like the looks of that car. But I would still rather have my 1969 amx.

Have to be the 1970 corvette , I am a chevy fanatic and own a 69 camaro . I learned to drive on a jag and owned mustangs but the chevys are so much more dependable and the look is so classic on the vette how could you not want to drive one.

of those ones the vette is best .even tho it looks like a small block vette.
the mustang was way too tame too much flash not enough tires to ever be fast
if the xke was a roadster i would have taken that .i had one we installed a 427 Chevy and a 4 speed in ..wow that was a ride

The Jag is sexy, but I don't want a car that is going to be in the shop 300 days a year.
The 'vette looks great, but the C3 was a pain to work on. A 427 or 454 in that car was huge fun, until it came time to do maintenance on a huge engine in a little engine bay. I'd get the Corvette if someone else did the maintenance.
My pick would be the Mustang, as it could easily be converted to "Eleanor" from the Gone in 60 Seconds remake. Plus, out of the above 3, its the cheapest to buy.

The Mustang is okay if you want a daily driver. The Jag has a history of electrical problems but looks impressive when you are parked waiting for service. The Vette will get you where you want to go faster than the others but you won't have a money to spend there due to insurance rates.

Personally, I liked the 67 GTO....
