does anyone remember the Mustang Ranch in Nevada? The owner did not pay his taxes and the government took it over and within one year it was bankrupt. Now the best part of this is the Mustang Ranch was a brothel it don't take to much business savy to run one. Come on look at the past, last week they wanted to buy 3 jets for themselves and we have people losing jobs homes and everything. Look this is not dem. rep. race or any other tag you can put on it. This is an attempt to gain power and control the people of this country how can anyone sell their freedom for government health care nothing is free.

The problem with Nevada brothels is they cannot be located within city limits, leaving vast stretches of open desert to run a business from.

No surprise why it went out of business with the govt. running it.

People are like sheep. They follow the flock. Even if that's over a cliff.

People talk about how smart we are. How humans are smarter than animals. But animals don't get lost in the woods and have to be rescued.

Unless that animal once belonged to a person.

People are still voting Republican and Democrat. The R&D Party has proven it's commitment to bankrupting America. And yet people still vote to bankrupt themselves.

Hardly a smart thing to do.

But people come to dumb conclusions all the time.

So are you saying the government should get rid of Medicare, Medicade, and VA clinics/hospitals ?..... I guess you think they should take that money and spend it on PRIVATE insurance plans for all of our seniors and vetrans ?....since that would be cheaper and more efficient ...right ?

One of the answers was ...Medicare and Medicade are overburdening and too expensive.... Yet, CONS KNOW that if any cuts were made to Medicare or Medicade, they would be the first to COMPLAIN !

Most people trust government.

Those of us who know better already know why the government wants to handle health care.

So they can charge twice as much for it, ration what little health care 25% of the money will pay for, and pocket the rest.

i think that's the saddest part of the whole health care debate and people are missing it. however, you have to realize they are having town hall meetings to discuss the merits of a bill that isn't even written as of yet. which version of which bill exactly is it they're debating? at least there is only one bill going through the senate and it's ONLY 600+ pages long. i don't believe any rep. has read all the bills circulating through the house to be able to discuss them intelligently. i guess if you don't even bother reading them when you vote on them you don't have to read them to give intelligent answers either.

There should be no worries over a federally supported program that offers affordable prices to keep the other competitors in line. The healthcare companies are spending more than $130 million this year to try to get Obama's plan to fail in Congress. The Obama admin realizes this and is trying to take efforts to dispel the misinformation that is out there. Some people think that having a public option will force the government to choose over the doctor's recommendations, but that as true, as Obama pointed out. The Republican noise machine won't stop at anything, even when it comes at the expense of being honest with themselves. They have said that Obama will force seniors to consider assisted suicide. This has been repeatedly their case for stopping this healthcare legislature. They are using dirty tactics to keep stalling as much they can. Already in Congress their numbers are dwindling so instead of cooperating, like they should, they are giving empty lectures. They've been stalling healthcare reform for nearly fifty years why would they want to talk now ?
