I have an automatic 1967 mustang coupe with a 200. I took it for a drive and when i accelerated it just accelerated but it did not want to go. so i pulled over and put it in parking and i was with my brother. so i opened the hood and everything was ok and i told my brother to move the gear stick to parking neutral drive reverse first gear and second but it would change gears okay but it would just not go only if you would push the car. But all gears were like neutral. the car starts perfectly. it just doesn't move when you change gears.

Sounds like an internal problem in the gearbox.
Pressure valve most likely.

Not a DIY job unless you are an expert.

first check the tranny fluid it might be low and check the vacuum line going to the vacuum module,if all those are good then the tranny is bad.
