I got a 73 302ci maverick and 71 302ci mustang, on the 71 mustang the spindle and hub are bad, and since my maverick is just sitting around with a blown motor and i won't be able to fix it till i start making money so for now i want to get 71 mustang going, will the spindle and hub from the maverick fit my mustang?

I am having trouble with the on line inchange manual at car-part.com
The reason I say this is because the maverick spindle will interchange with the 71 Torino, but the mustang does not interchange with the torino. I thought they were the same chassis.
One other thought on this is that the Mustang might have disk brakes (this was an option at least, maybe that is the way all V8's were).
My common sense and knowledge for Fords says it should if the brakes are changed with it.

The Mustang one is more beefier, but I believe the dimensions are the same. So they may fit. Check the tie rod ends however, they maybe different, the Mustang tie rod being bigger than the Mavs.
