I've been running offroad x pipe and borla ataks for about 10k miles on my 12 gt and I've noticed that my muffler tips have turned black on the Inside of tips. The exterior is still nice and shiny. Is this normal because I'm running offroad or is this something I should be concerned about??
Thanks

That's what's coming out of your tail pipes, causing the Polar ice caps to melt........:)

The earth goes through progressions and changes as time marches on. Sometimes humans have an impact (The Dust Bowl for example). Regardless, this ball of dirt we float through the universe on is extremely resilient. What I know for certain is that we are not in control. No matter what, we cannot predict the future. We're just along for the ride.

I will keep driving old V8s, cooking with my wood burning smoker, grilling, sitting around the fire pit, enjoying the fire place, running my AC as cold as I want to, racing when I can, use aerosol spray cans, as well as other daily lifestyle choices.

...and I will admire the carbon buildup on the inside of my exhaust tips.

But it wouldn't change the sound of the exhaust would it? Like all the carbon buildup could that mess up your mufflers on the Inside somehow? Not that mine sound different just wondering.

That would require a massive buildup. Before such a build up of carbon could take place in a free flowing exhaust, the trash would blow out.
