a 1964 Thunderbird with a landau top (it is one of the nicest models) or a 1964 1/2/1965 ( My grandfather died and we don't remember which on it is.) The T-bird has a 390 V-8 in it, and I'm not sure what the mustang has. We own the stang, but we're looking at buying the t-brid for 11,500. Mustang trans needs to be adjusted- won't go into 3rd?? I'm not sure. We rebuilt it three years ago, and then he died. Air conditioner doesn't work, the T-bird (for those of you who know them well) have the air flow system that brings air in. Both are autos. ( i wanted a manual!!!) I'm not sure what size the Mustang is; I thought it was the v-8, but somebody else (they think they remember) is one of the v-6's. I need to go out and look. So which would you rather have?

The Mustang, it is a far better car. The 4 speed transmissions for the Mustangs are easy to come by if you wanted to convert it.
