Motorcraft or Autolite are simple the best for the Ford engine. Champions and Bosch are not advised and can cost you more in the long run. Also dont believe the claim of Super dooper plugs like splitfire or Accel plugs they do not do anything special that a normal plug does.

Autolite. You should be able to get 'em at Walmart for dirt cheap.

 

I agree with bbunt302, and Corey. I was using my dads truck one day. Its a 1997 F-150, and it started to run like crap, and the check engine light came on. So I limped it to the Ford dealership, and it turned out that the problem was my dad had gotten the spark plugs change about a year ealier, and they used champion spark plugs. The people at the Ford dealership said that you should only use autolite plugs in Ford products because Ford own Autolite. They told me that Dodge owns Champion, and the plugs that they make that fit F-150's doesn't work the same as the Autolite plugs intended for the F-150. I can't remember what spark plug company they said that GM owns, but I believe they did tell me. The spark plugs didn't hurt the truck I don't believe, they just burnout prematurely.

Sorry but magic plugs are bullcrap. A plug does nothing more than deliver a spark from a coil pack on modern Mustang. They have not hidden internal nuclear reactor or magic fairy dust in them to boost or make a super spark.

The problem here is you are quoting a manufactures ad that was in 5.0 mustang which is a paid advertiser.

Remember this 95% of advertised claims of better mileage or increased HP on anything like plugs, wires, oil, oil additive, exhaust, TB spacers, fuel additive, swirly makers is either hyper or a lie.

 

I don't care if I had a 1300 hp Turbo 500+ cube motor, I'd run Autolites. NGK, Denso, etc are nothing more than effective marketing.
