Cool thanks!fordfan100 said:Should be fairly simple if I remeber correctly your bumper should have all of the mounting points already on it you just need to remove the plastic covers and replace them with the fog lights. After that just attach the wiring harness and you should be done.
Mine doesn't have the wiring or mounts.fordfan100 said:Should be fairly simple if I remeber correctly your bumper should have all of the mounting points already on it you just need to remove the plastic covers and replace them with the fog lights. Ok. I'll look harder. Thanks for he infoTib said:did you check further back and make sure the harness is not tucked up away. Most cars have all the wiring harness's installed so that dealer can install them quick and charge top dollar for the install even though it only takes a few minutes.
I'm not 100% sure on the mustangs since both of mine came from the factory with fog lights, but I had a scion tC and the wiring was a few feet away and zip tied up...super easy install though.
I've had my whole bumper off and I never saw any wiressonicpony03 said:I'm fairly certain the 99-04 v6's did not come with any fog light wiring or harnesses from the factory. The only v6's that did were from the 94-98 era...possibly 94-96.
The only 99-04 era mustangs that did come with the wiring were the 01 bullitts.
If you want to add fog lights to your v6, you have to buy the lights themselves (with brackets), wiring harnesses, and switch/relay.
There are kits available from numerous vendors. CJ Pony Parts, Latemodel Restoration, VMP Tuning, and many others offer different kits..from complete kits to ones with just the fog lights or just the wiring.
The lights are not too difficult to install...most kits come with detailed instructions for adding the wiring and switch.
