You don't *need* it, it's just for aesthetics (I probably butchered the spelling on that)... I had to take mine off when I put on the chin spoiler' so you might as well upgrade

 

ACTUALLY I THIN ITS MADE TO DEFLECT AIR UP INTO THE RADIATOR
But i don't think it'll make a diff if you don't have it

 

I'll probably just take it off for now. I plan to totally change how my ride looks and rides. But that'll have to start next year.

 

it also protects u from goin up on curb when parking and such, but just make sure u don't do that and u wont have to worry about it.

 

You dont need it. It protects the radiator/ac/under car if you run over something. Just a couple screws and clips i believe and it comes right off

This happens to all cars. Its a thin peice of plastic not secured very well. If you run something over its easy to rip off
