I search gears a few months ago when I decided to add it to my list. Most people who had 373 said they were great but it left them wanting more. 410 will give you a more completive edge if you are next to a gt. The only thing is if you are getting a supercharger, the gears are a big no no.

Yep I have a manual. The choice is yours if you want to drive it. Either way I don't mind giving you a ride in it

I have a 2004 v6 and I just wanted to swap the rear end for a GT for the T-lok and the different gears since v6's came stock with like 2.73 (trying to remember). My problem is I can't find one anywhere nearby. I was wondering if there's any difference between 2000-2004 GT rear ends because if not it would widen my search some. Also what all years of GT rear end bolt on and look the same as an 04 v6

Well that helps some. What's a good price for one? I saw some on eBay asking for 400 bucks for a stock GT with like 90k miles on it.

Nope. All 94-04 GT 8.8's are 28 spline. You'll need a 94-98 Cobra, 01 Bullitt or 03/04 Mach rear for 31 spline axles.

01 Bullitt actually came with 28 spline axles unfortunately.

Stock I believe they have the same gears by the way. I payed 275 for an 04 Gts rear with 40k miles. It all depends what gears are in it

One more thing, does it matter if it's the rear end off an automatic or a standard?

They shift at different times not sure if this is due to the gears. A friend of mine locally has a gt and needs an auto rear end. So they told him at the recycle center.He was not intuitive enough to ask why.

They didn't come with the 2.78s? Or am I confusing those with the older SN95s
