Since I have had my car I have used the K-Member and differential for lifting without issue. When using the differential I use a phone book, a catalogue or thick cardboard pieces to apply less stress on the differential cover to avoid causing an issue with the seal. I have had a BMR K-Member for a number of years and made up a 2 x 6 with holes drilled to fit the steering bolts to position the 2 x 6.

Since this picture was taken I have made up 2 x 6 blocks that are two thick and three thick that are screwed together.

In this picture you can see the Steering bolts I position the jacking board under.

I also installed sub frame connectors on my car and they make excellent jacking points. Using them as a jacking point will lift the whole side of the car.

I like to work on the underside of the car with the wheels resting on 12” Race Ramps wheel cribs. The wheel cribs while not cheap are light weight and very strong.
