Ok well first off... I've got a code - p1413 popping up so my check engine light is on, I need as much info on this code as possible.. I know it can be a bad air pump - 180 dollars - argh.... But any info on what else it could be before I take my 00 mustang to the shop would be great.

Also another question is I'm at 195k miles on my 00... Also own a 03 mustang 3.8 thats totaled - so it's a parts car it's also a 3.8 v6. I want to take the 3.8 out of the 03 and put it into my 00 - but, the 03 is an automatic and the 00 is a manual... When I do this swap what do I have to do with the computer part of the swap - Considering the computers hold the trans codes and since I'm leaving the stick trans in... what issues will I have if any?

It is most likely either a hose or line that fell off, broke or is kinked, or a bad A.I.R. pump. What you can do is unplug the A.I.R. pump connector. Ground the black wire and, with a 30 amp fused jumper wire, apply battery voltage to the white wire.

If the pump runs, then chances are the pump is good and the problem is with a hose. If not, then the A.I.R. pump will need to be replaced.
