I loved my 2015 Mustang GT with performance package, i was the first owner and owned it since May 2015. I had the oil changed every 3000 miles always used premium gas and i did a lot of maintenance on the car (spent $2000 on new battery and breaks 1 month before the engine died).
One day on my way to work the car shut down at a red light.
Few days later the dealer sent me a quote through the phone for a $15 000 repair for a new engine. I was heartbroken, I took it to a mechanic i know to confirm the engine was gone and he confirmed.
I ended up trading in my car for $6000 to a ford dealer and bought a 2024 Mustang GT with performance package.
Still a year later and i wonder why the engine died. One month prior to engine dying , my car was at a dealership service center for 3 days while they were doing maintenance (Breaks , oil change, and car battery). Did someone do something to the car during this time or did someone mess up my engine during oil change? I still question my self how a coyote engine can die after 80k miles as they are known to be very reliable.
