so recently I've come to notice a really bad squeaking noise coming from what sounds like the trunk, or the rear suspension somewhere. It occurs pretty much all the time when I'm driving, unless I'm on a brand new paved road. I was curious if anybody has had the same problem with their car. I just replaced my rear lower control arms so that isn't the location, just an FYI. Thanks in advance.

Greased properly.....?

If not speed dependent that would indicate brakes, look to the sway bar end links, as they are primary culprits. Shoot them with some silicone lube and if the noise goes away temporarily, there you are.

Still warranty? Ford will replace these with better parts for free. They won't hardly put up a fight for this ongoing issue.

Seriously, $400 bucks, PFO. It's a 16 dollar part each and a half hour's work max.

What I did was replace the rubber in the factory end links, even though mine were silent after Ford replaced them. I used the poly bushing rear sway bar kit from Energy suspension. That was 25 bucks and a couple hours to burn out the rubber and install the poly. Bear in mind your sway bar size when ordering. BBP, TP and PP cars have 24 mm, regular GTs have 22.
