Okay I'm gonna be ordering a clutch cable this week and need to know which one to order . I had some trans work done and my mechanic said the clutch cable needs to be replaced and to get an adjustable quadrant ?

It seems like everyone who goes aftermarket with the adjustable quaderant has issues lately. Been several threads recently that involve adjustment issues. But i have heard that Maximum Motorsports is as good as the OEM cables and their quaderant is good too. I would just stick with the OEM setup if it was me, no need to go aftermarket IMO

Three Piece MM Kit Work Together
-Maximum Motorsports uses a Ford OEM that is slightly longer. They beef it up along the shielding (rubber gets super thick) that gets exposed to heat. Their quadrant takes the length into consideration for a smooth engagement, The firewall adjuster has a large range for throw out.
If you have longtubes, they have even more heat protection. But the clutch cable insulator is for everyone, working as the spacer between cable and bell housing to reduce heat soak.

Their cable kit is in a class of its own.
