Also have a set of their stage 2 valve springs for the build. Hopefully I can get the rest of the parts I need and have them installed next month.

I am going to order the same ones very soon! Please be sure to do a write up so I can follow your build!!! I have the money to buy them now, I am just in a place right now where I can't spend unnecessary money.

Im in that place too, I actually took a job making less money (well Im 80% sure) Im going to take it. Less hours by about 25 to 30 a week will be nice though, and being hourly verse salary for a while anyway.

Regardless I envy you guys and your damn cams! Ive always wanted a car with a nice big cam in it, I know a lot of people say their a waste of money, and I get the point as to why, but I still love the sound of them and will eventually have the funds one day. Ever since I was a kid and my brother had his 69 Chevelle 396 with a huge cam, Ive always dreamed of having a car that even remotely sounded like that. They may not add FI power but the way they sound at idle, is worth at least 150hp in my book, ha.

Im looking forward to living vicariously through your guys builds to come this summer! You have to do a good long video of it running, Kenneys was short when it came to the acual car running, still appreciated it and it sounded great but hes a tease for sure, lol.

Yea I saw that myself when doing research as well. They look pretty neat and that they work pretty well. I might order one. I've seen people do it with the regular tool and it didn't look to bad.

I have a buddy who's brother built his motor. He did the degree service on his. Next winter hopefully I'll be doing long tubes and his old procharger set up when he goes turbo.

My buddies brother is going to help me with the install of the cams since he did the install on my buddies car. Problem is finding time to get my car over to his place, and doing the install. I'm hoping to get them installed, and the car tuned before the Oreilly Street machine nationals in July. He works a full time job, plus works weekends bar-tending.

Nothing is harder than having HP just sitting on the floor of my room.

I know what you mean. I haven't even got mine yet and it's eating me up. I'll probably be in the same boat you are. No time. Did you buy lash adjusters?

Replacing my ticking lash adjusters is the way I justified spending all this money on cams and everything else to the girlfriend. Might as well replace it while I'm in there!

This tool makes it so you don't have too. My buddy had his hi tech cams installed in his Mustang in an afternoon by his brother. Mine will take a little longer since I'm also doing springs. Bought the air valve spring holder too also. Next weekend will be the day we hopefully do the install.

I just figured you would take the cover off to inspect your chains and tensioners. And for the fact that it's easy for the tool to slip and allow the chain to skip a tooth.

My buddy who used the tool has had his cams in his 01 GT for almost 6 years now and 50k miles. 20k of them making 500hp with 9psi of boost. No problems.

Also one thing to remember. Ford bases the right and left cyl head as sitting in the drivers seat.

Well my buddy found his cam gear holder tool. I'm currently talking with another buddy in letting me use a bay in his shop possible tomorrow or Friday afternoon to get these cams installed.

My holder should be here tomorrow. Just in case.
