I would say no. I prefer to personally err on the side of caution and not trust exhaust clamps. Welded exhaust all the way for me.

Look into glasspack mufflers for a killer sound without straight-pipe drone. I like my 8" Cherrybomb

 

A straight piped exhaust is going to sound obnoxiously loud when driving with the top down. Depending on which state you're in, it may be illegal for the car to be catless.
You can certainly install the rest of the exhaust behind the headers yourself. I suggest you listen to a few exhaust set ups with mufflers and find one that you like.

 

Which set off long tube headers would be best?
I seen 1 7/8 long tubes, paired with off r x pipe. Would be best for boost down the road?

how’s should I start I love my mustangs to be loud and aggressive but I’m on a budget.

my plans was

Long tube headers, off road x pipe, and no mufflers with quad stainless tips

I know I have to get the long tubes installed by a shop which I’m saving for. But can I do the rest my self to save some money?

LT's with an off-road X pipe will be loud, no mufflers will = a ticket in most states for noise..

Wow! Long tubes and straight pipes? I would not characterize that as an upgrade. That'll blow your head off and everyone around you as well. I recommend GT500 mufflers for the Coyote. Quad tips will require bumper mods. The GT500s are rasonable, since you introduce budget to this exchange.

 

I just realized you said "off-road" x-pipe.

You'll definitely throw codes when you don't re-install your cats or at the very least you'll be wasting material when you cut the extra length off to fit the x-pipe around the cats

 

Welcome to the site from N. Idaho. I'm on my second Mustang convertible. The first a 2008 GT/CS and now a 2012 GT 5.0. I don't know what pipes were on the 2008, the 2012 has Roush exhaust. Adding to Deno's comments, just driving a convertible you can't hear conversations in the car, the radio or phone. I love the sound of my pipes, but they are not obnoxiously loud. So, I'm willing to put up with that because i enjoy driving a convertible, good chance you'll regret going too loud.
