They are called Puddle lamps/lights it looks like you have the factory one

If you have a Premium with the Comfort Package it comes with it I think.

But there is also aftermarket ones as well.

Heated seats & "puddle lights" (Pony light from mirror) come as the "Comfort Package".

It's neat. I'm not a huge fan of them, but I wouldn't mind having them just b/c. LOL.

If anybody hates theirs and wants to swap their mirror lower portions for non-puddle light lowers I'll trade with you. (not sure what all is involved but we could figure it out)

There are ones that go under the door that look quite nice too and they have different designs as well.

I have the factory ones on mine. However both sides are messed up they don't project a clear pony. The car is still under warranty I'm thinking of trying to get them replaced.

My GT is a premium with dual power and heated seats, shaker 1000 and all. I don't have puddle lamps. WTH?

Yeah I think they started with the 2013's. Anyone know how to clean them up? One side projects perfectly and the other one isn't as clear. I tried to clean it just with a towel, haven't tried a q tip yet.

They don't clean up. It needs repaired or replaced by ford. Like I said earlier I'm gonna try and take mine to the dealer to try and get it fixed under warranty.

Warranty work

Any update on ford replacing your puddle lights? I have the same problem. My mustang logo isn't clear any more and my car is still under warrenty. I want to get them replaced, even if I have to buy them myself, but if they will change them out because of the warrenty I would rather that.

 

Sounds like it isn't worth it. Seem like they all get affected by condensation.

Same problem? Looks like lines through it or something? The condensation is the best answer for the problem that I can think of.

 

I had the same problem. They looked like they where broke up into shards. I just took it to the dealership and they replaced them under warranty.
