Tire has plenty of tread left. Probably a eighth of an inch deep cut in groove.

If it was mine I would patch it and use it.....but I don't track it.

 

Definitely looks repairable. You may even be able to get a hot piece of metal and melt the rubber together. But yea do not track with it.

put a real patch (not plug) involves removing tire putting a patch inside the tire and re-balancing. Some tire shops will do this n/c even if you didn't buy it there

I would keep it on the rear. I would rather have a blowout on a rear tire than a front one

I picked a huge piece of glass in our Nitto's. Plugged it and booted from inside. Tire man said he felt it was plenty safe. We do not track car either.
