Swapping out the AOD

Alright fellas, I'm starting my 5 speed swap. I already have everything I need(I think) to complete it.

Just got done pulling my aod about a half hour ago and it wasn't too bad.

Now, are there any tips or tricks I need to use when swapping in my t-5? I was told by a buddy I needed to swap in a harness from the donor car(the one with the 2 studs sticking out) because it has the neutral safety switch in it but from what I've read they all gave the neutral safety switch already in them.

Or is the 2 prong on the manual part of the neutral switch? If that's the case I can't save it....looks to have been laying on a h pipe :/

It's their new album In Waves, in the second video I think, you can hear part of in waves before I stomp it, oh and this is all done with my window down. No excess noise at all! I was amazed.

he was trying to use the browser. so a seperate login is required. in the app since he uses it frequently he is always logged in. :good:
Ahh, I see. I use a program called LastPass on my PC. It remembers all of my passwords and usernames for different sites. There isn't anyway I could remember them, plus it is browser based so I can access them from anything that uses a browser.

Yes exactly, save me TH!!! By the way, I still haven't received an email from the forgot password or contact us thing lol

They signed me up for the Help, but I haven't received a notice about any help tickets yet.

So, PM me what you want your password reset to and I can change it in the admin control panel. Sorry I cannot retrieve your old password though. It is hidden from me too.

Now for some reason it won't let me view private msgs from the app and I can't get online at work to try and log in to the full site

Well that just sux. Sorry, but I don't know anything about the app.
Maybe you need to find app settings and input the new password in there somewhere? Just grasping at straws there.

Upon further inspection the teeth on the flywheel aren't exactly triangle, the one side is worn down a bit. So I guess I'll get a new flywheel sometime but won't know when cuz the wife needs her wisdom teeth pulled :(

Got a fifth of whiskey and some pliers? ;)

You gotta' get her to drink all the whiskey first, then show her the pliers. If she giggles and hiccups a time or two, then it's a go.

Gonna snap a picture in a minute of the flywheel teeth and you guys tell me of you think that's been the problem with my starter grinding and not starting my car

That's what happen to your flywheel, right 90LX? You got your Lambo out and pulled some of its teeth:D
Oh it's not missing teeth, it just doesn't look normal to me. I don't know why I thought it was ok to use. Gotta wait on the wife to get outta the shower to watch the kids. Said she was getting out of bed an hour ago to get a showrr(nightshift).

I get home and 10 mins later she gets in the shower. I wanted to use the pimp hand lol.

Gonna start with a fresh flywheel, put my smaller aod starter back in, use the bellhousing from my 87 so I don't have to put a bolt and nut through the bottom starter hole. I think that was one issue, vibrations would cause it to slide away from the flywheel so my car was completely unstartable without pushing because the hole was drilled out bigger than the bolt to fit in.

You should need the 50 oz. imbalance, IF no one has changed the engine in the past.

It's done by a counterweight on the flywheel. I don't know how to tell visually between a 50 and a 28 all by themselves, but if you had them side by side it would be easy to tell. Sometimes the weights are bolted on the aftermarket flywheels, but a stock one will have them cast in permanently.

I don't remember how they do the imbalance, but can't you tell by looking at the current one? It should have either weights or extra holes drilled on one side?
Hell idk, never had to buy a new flywheel before heh
