Thought you might find this funny
Yea mine is 3.5 and it fills it out good. What catback u have?sonicpony03 said:I was skeptical about the 4" tips too until I saw an 03 Cobra for sale with Borla 4"..things looked badass..as said they really fill out the cutouts in the bumper, and they didn't stick way past the bumper either.
I have 3" tips and they look small at certain angles, but I'm too cheap to buy bigger ones lol.
Yea mine is less than a inch off of it.04GTRed_Plague said:Yea tips that stick out too far dont do it for me either... i was talking about tips having like a snug fit in the cut out and not hanging with like a 2 finger gap between the tip and cut outs

I seen the pic that guy posted they looked pretty good on the pic. Ill post a pic of mine when i get the car out the shop. The magnaflow tips r easily adjustable. Mine is pushed all the way n. It sticks out between a quarter and half inch

Anything less doesn't seem to fill in the cut outs on the bumper.. however i am really particular about stuff like this and i think it looks way cleaner to have the shop put the tips as far in the cut outs as possible while still having the same amount of gap between tip and cut out all the way around
My 4 inch tips. I love them. They dont look ricer at all.CodyNelson said:4 inch tips are perfect. I regret getting my 3.5s.....
I agree... Not dissing anybody in here.. They just look like its too much. My buddy has them on his 07. He loves them, but they just look too big. And I'm not saying they don't sound good. Just don't like the looks.dmax8709 said:I think the 4 in tips just looks to big like a ricers muffler
No not mine. It's the same tips that Borla exhaust uses. It's the 4 inch rolled tips.dmax8709 said:I think the 4 in tips just looks to big like a ricers muffler

I have this exact setup magnaflow o/r x into borla stingersCodyNelson said:MM&FF did a study on this a long time ago and found that on a 2V GT with 500 rwhp that the X pipe made 3 more hp than the H... So basically what im saying is you will never know the difference performace wise. Go with the H though. I heard a GT with O/R X and Borla Stingers (same thing as magnapacks) and it was stupid loud. I couldnt even handle standing behind it when he revved it up. And on the inside you would never be able to carry on a convo

Sounds good and with the bbk shorty headers... it sounds like a Mustang suppose to.
Equates to ear damage if driven 15min or more...geeez!CodyNelson said:MM&FF did a study on this a long time ago and found that on a 2V GT with 500 rwhp that the X pipe made 3 more hp than the H...
