A dyno tune is always the best you can do (as long as the guy doing it is good). Bama tunes are great because you can get new ones when you do little upgrades for free and their customer service is awesome. I would definitely recommend the bama tune for light mods. Once your done modding then get the dyno tune. Remember that you need a new dyno tune when you make changes to the car, and that won't be cheap. Most proper dyno tune sessions will run about 100$/hour and every dyno operator will want to use their hardware which means a new tuner device. So add another 400 to that. Get the bama.13 stang22 said:would a dyno be better than a bama even tho bama uses a dyno? I'm jus tryna squeeze every bit of power out
Even a Bolton car. Once you're done (not while your building it up obviously) a dyno tune is the way to go. Especially with headers, offroad Midpipes, and bigger throttle bodies. You can really pull a lot more power, reliability, and smoothness out of a good dyno tune.Charlie_santos said:Im referring to bolt ons not stroker kits, porting, etc. for those mods fine tuning is best but for just bolt ons its not worth the money.
A tune is not just about a few more hp.Charlie_santos said:Unless the person is seriously completely done modding then MAYBE but i personally would just stick with a email tune i dont think 10-15HP extra to the wheels is worth hundreds of dollars.
