Track keys aren't even worth the money. Most boss owners don't even use their track keys and anything that a track key can do a aftermarket tune can do the same. Only good thing about a track key would be the ability to maintain the warranty.

An aftermarket tune doesn't have launch control... that alone is worth it.

 

If you know your car, you don't need it.

Actually all 14's will be able to get the track key. Don't ask me how I know.

 

Only ones made after 7-1-13. I think I Saw it on ford racing.com

So the track key is a second tune right? It would almost have to be a second tune in the computer accessed with the track key.

If the track key unlocks a second tune what says a aftermarket tuner can't unlock it and use it. Can boss owners aftermarket update the track key tune?

2014 MUSTANG GT TRACK KEY

GT track key? Anyone have any further information on this?

Just talked to the dealer and checked on availability, not going to be out until after April 1st. Will cost about $300, and they require an hour of dealer shop time to install. Guesstimated at around $400 total to update. My build date is right, have a manual tranny, I think I am in.
